have y'all heard about this????
i am really amazed. this guy's commentary is interesting and helpful, but i think i would have preferred it if more weight had been given to how much of a miracle this is - it's a really good thing a sizey step in the right direction.
a bunch of rambling thoughts, many of which relate to hymns and songs, theology and books, movies and tv, food and fashion, politics and the drama that is my life, but nothing really makes a consistent appearance except pictures.

I haven't watched the commentary yet, but that article is - to say the least - surprising. It sounds like the pope is only talking about practices like indulgences and whatnot, instead of talking about the real heart of the matter. I haven't read the book yet, but I read Luther's preface to "The Bondage of the Will" and in that he claims that the issue of who saves whom and our state prior to is the real issue. I doubt that will get discussed much by the pope.
